Who is Ghadeer
Ghadeer is a young Palestinian woman who lost her home and now lives with her mother in a tent in Gaza. In the middle of displacement, she decided to turn that same precarious space into something more: an improvised school for the children of her community.
What the school does
It isn't just a place to study. It's the one fixed point of stability, routine and care that many of these children know. Ghadeer teaches them to read and write, organises activities and games, and creates a space where, even if just for a while, they can feel like children again.
Many of these children have lost the person who used to care for them. For them, this school isn't an extra — it's the only chance to learn they have left.
Before and after
When we met Ghadeer, the school had no support at all: children sat on the floor of an old, borrowed tent, using whatever they could find — even a broken computer case — as a desk.
Since we started helping, everything changed. Ghadeer was able to put together packs for the children, buy them backpacks and shoes, and move the school into a new tent.
Where every donation goes
Ghadeer puts everything she receives into the school, not into herself:
A day at the school

Why this campaign is different
Unlike other campaigns, the money here doesn't reach one single person or family: it reaches dozens of children who depend on this school staying open. Every euro turns directly into classes that continue, a plate of food, a notebook for someone who had none.
